in the hope that you will direct all governments in various

provinces, cities and districts to publish the purposes of Customs Autonomy in simple language for the information of

the people throughout the country.

On receipt of the above, we (the Internal Administration

Department) have drawn up some simple and short propaganda

in accordance with the regulations, and besides notifying others separately, as in duty bound, we send you this letter together with some propaganda and slogans in the hope that you will note and instruct your subordinates to act accordingly. Enclosed is a copy of General Propaganda Regulations, and a list of Important points and slogans for

propaganda.

On receipt of the above, we (the Provincial Government) find that since this is in the interests of Customs Autonomy, it is our duty to act accordingly. Besides notifying others separately, we send you this notification together with General Propaganda Regulations, and a list of important points and slogans for propaganda, hoping you will act accordingly and instruct your subordinates to comply with it.

The Slogans for such propaganda are as follows:-

(1) Get the unequal treaties abolished and restore

our Customs Autonomy.

(2) Realize our Customs Autonomy with a view to

raising our international position.

(3) Realize our Custans Autonomy with a view to

restoring our economical bulwarks.

(4) Realize our Customs Autonomy with a view to

replenishing our National Treasury.

(5) Realize our Customs Autonomy with a view to

developing the Industry and Commerce of our

country.
